Looks of the day

Hey there!

So I thought I would share a few "looks of the day" from last week and the weekend. Its only of my face and hair, so no outfits, but right now I tend to just wear black on black, or maybe black jeans with some kind of grey t-shirt with it.

New-in and review - Maybelline lipsticks in 'Feel Pink' and 'Hot Plum'

Hello everyone!

So not too long ago I bought two new lipsticks from Maybelline. One is from the 'Color Sensational Vivid Lipstick' line and the name is 'Hot Plum' #906. The other one is from the "normal" 'Color Sensational Lipstick' line, and the name is 'Feel Pink' #162.

Look of the day

So today I decided to go dark. All black clothes, dark lipstick and spikey necklace. On the lips I have MAC lip liner in "Vino" and  MAC lipstick in "Diva". I wore a black tee and a black skirt from H&M and a long cardigan from Forever11. My necklace is by KANTbyRAHBEK. She's a really talented Danish jewelry designer, and I just LOVE her stuff!

Requested makeup-look and mini review of the NARS Velvet Matt Lip Pencil in Red Square

Some time ago one of my friends requested me to do a makeup look she had seen on a pictures that was actually a drawing. I have no idea who make the drawing, but it is beautiful!

REVIEW - MAC lipstick in Impassioned

Hi there!

Some time ago I wanted to get Candy Yum Yum from MAC, so I went to my local MAC counter. I came out with Impassioned instead, because I thought that I would get more wear out of that colour. 

 

So here is the packaging and the name. 

  

Here is the lipstick itself. I would say that it's a bit lighter in real life than it is on the picture. It's "amped-up fuchsia" according to MAC's website, and it sure is! It's a really pretty pink-ish and coral-ish colour. The finish is amplified creme, so it does have a nice subtle shine to it. I don't like lipsticks that have high shine like lip glosses, and I don't really like lip glosses in general because they are sticky and don't stay in place for very long. But this lipstick has a perfect amount of shine to it - for me at least. I wore it for a whole day, where I only touched it up one time after eating some food. It stayed in place, and the colour stayed vibrant the whole day. I love all my other MAC lipsticks, so I had good hopes for this one, and it did not disappoint me!

Aaaaaand here's a few pictures of the lipstick on. I really do like how vibrant the colour is!
